The LE-50 Gen2 is a versatile benchtop system that combines needle-based and needleless technologies in a single unit. It supports dual-solution processing (hybrid structures made out of nanofibers of two different materials), independent high-voltage control, and automated scanning emitter motion for high homogeneity —ideal for developing multi-material scaffolds used in tissue engineering, wound healing, drug delivery, and medical device coatings.
Electrospinning technology enables the fabrication of nanofibre-based scaffolds that closely mimic the extracellular matrix, supporting cell growth and tissue regeneration. Also a great controlled release of active ingredients can be performed by the electrospun materials.
